SHERWOOD PARK - Seniors United Now (SUN) today published the first issue of a members' newsletter called “Sunburst”.  The newsletter outlines the considerable progress that has been made and advises that SUN is now poised to greatly increase its level of activity and profile.

President Albert Opstad advises that further issues will be published as the need arises, rather than on a rigid schedule.  The next issue is expected to announce date and place of SUN's first annual general meeting.

SUN is a non-profit Alberta Society whose main objective is to provide a united venue for discussion and action on the needs, concerns and challenges that affect all seniors.  The current newsletter is available on the SUN web site “seniorsunitednow.ca” or by calling the SUN office at 780 449 1816
