Linda Osborne - Executive Director
Linda retired in 2007 after working for Edmonton Public Schools for 34 years as a teacher and school administrator.
Linda has served on a number of boards in the last nine years and was a Board of Director for Seniors United Now for three years before taking on the position of Executive Director.
Linda has served as the volunteer coordinator for the ABC Head Start Scarecrow Festival and has been an event coordinator for APPEGA Science Olympics for over 14 years. Linda enjoys recreational activities and is an avid golfer. She loves travelling and even taught in Australia for a year.
Linda has been married for over 40 years and has one married daughter.
Lynn Penner – Office Administrator
Lynn has worked with SUN since August 2005. Previous to this position she worked at the Toronto Dominion Bank over a 20-year period, 1982-2002.
She held various positions, Administration Officer, Loan Accounting, Investment Officer, Teller Supervisor, Commercial Teller and Customer Service Officer.
Lynn is an active volunteer most recently acting as chair of ticketing for the U18 2019 Canadian Championships held in Strathcona County and previously was the co-chair for the hugely successful Grand Slam of Curling Champions Cup held in Strathcona County April 2016.
Lynn has been married for over 35 years enjoys curling, camping, biking, occasional golf and is very proud of her two adult sons.
Deborah Wilson - Membership Coordinator
Deborah has worked for the Government of Alberta for 30+ years.
Her career includes work with AISH, Career Services and Income Support.
After leaving the Government, Deb worked for a Steel Manufacturing company.
Volunteering started at an early age with most of her time spent in her children’s schools, then onto Community Leagues and Area Councils in the Edmonton area.
Deborah is married to the love of her life, Lance, and lives south of Sherwood Park on an acreage which they refer to as their piece of paradise.
They have six children and three grandchildren and their pup, called Bella.
Deborah enjoys gardening, walking and is learning to can her produce after harvest.
