Gloria retired after 30 years as a legal assistant with two historic Edmonton firms.
She has three sons and one brand new grandson who lives in Scotland. As a descendant of Icelandic immigrants, Gloria has served on the board of the Icelandic Canadian Club of Edmonton for many years and directed the Saga Singers for 13 years.
Her passion is music, choral singing in particular. Also, she served 6 years on a church board and volunteers in various capacities with that organization.
Summer sees Gloria zipping along Edmonton's wonderful river valley trails on her eBike.
Her motto: we must all do our best to make our corner of the world a better place for everyone.
Gloria joined SUN in 2007, joining the Provincial Board in 2024.
